How does it work?
Three steps to read a QR code and estimate link risk.
- 1
Scan or upload
Open the camera or upload an image that contains the QR code.
- 2
Read the content
Decoding shows the exact URL or text stored in the QR code.
- 3
Estimate security
A local check plus an AI estimate indicate whether the link looks safe.
Understanding the suspicion score
The higher the score, the riskier the link looks. Here is the scale we use.
- 0–20
Probably safe
Standard HTTPS with no obvious warning signs.
- 21–50
Worth checking
Unusual elements: verify the destination.
- 51–80
Suspicious
Risk signals (HTTP, doubtful host, etc.).
- 81–100
Very suspicious
Potentially dangerous content: do not open it.

Decoding happens in your browser. The AI estimate may send the URL to our API for analysis and caching; it is not meant to be published as a personal history.
